Welcome fellow tech transitioners and QA professionals! I believe the best way to learn is through shared experiences. Whether you’re a career changer, experienced QA tester, or someone with valuable insights about breaking into tech, I’d love to feature your voice.
Post Requirements:
- Length: 1,000-2,000 words
- Original, unpublished content
- Personal voice and experiences
- Clear structure with headers
- Code examples (if relevant)
- Screenshots or visuals (if applicable)
- Brief author bio (100 words)
Submission Process:
- Send your pitch to nicole@testlikeagirl.com with:
- Proposed topic and outline
- Sample of your writing
- Brief intro about yourself
- If accepted, you’ll receive:
- Style guide and formatting requirements
- Suggested edits/revisions if needed
- Publication timeline
- Final draft should include:
- Complete article
- Author bio and photo
- Social media handles
- Any relevant links
Style Tips:
- Write conversationally but professionally
- Define technical terms for beginners
- Use clear examples
- Break down complex concepts
- Include practical takeaways
- Add personal insights
